The Grove, Chandlers Cross
Conversion of, and extension to, Grade II* Listed mansion in 300 acres of parkland to luxury 5* hotel. 16 suites with 211 guestrooms in the new extension, three restaurants, conference facilities, health spa and leisure club, three swimming pools and an 18-hole championship golf course. Completed 2003.

Northgate Quarter, Chester
Redevelopment of town centre area to give greater pedestrian access, increase retail space and re-organise bus station and car parking. Development is on a sloping site and lies over part of the Roman forum of Deva adding to the normal complexities of town centre retail access and servicing.
Swindon & Aylesbury
Split site use for B1 office and B2/B8 industrial/warehousing. Modular design to give improved opportunities for pre-fabrication and phased site development. Aylesbury developed the ideas from the Swindon scheme with higher emphasis on energy issues with incorporation of chilled ceilings, light shelf/brise soleil shading and natural ventilation.Cherry Pink Car Park, Telford
Redevelopment of existing town centre surface car park into multi-storey shoppers’ car park on four levels with bridge link access to shopping centre. Scheme incorporated chevron parking – believed to be the first multi-storey in this country – and high capacity vehicle routes with helical entry and exit ramps.

Scheme designs, production information and on-site work to completion. Development of systems for air-sealing following Tesco decision to dispense with entrance doors. At the time (1994/5) Southend was the largest Tesco store and was built in the shortest contract period of 35 weeks.
